I was thinking about a new GPSr but have decided to hold out. Our new Android Phone and Geobeagle gives us a better gps than the GPSr we started out with, the Garmin ETrex Summit. We have now found numerous caches with just our phone, even under tree cover. We can't wait for the android Geocaching app and were contacted to be beta testers. We'll let you know how that goes. We will stick with the combination of the phone and the ETrex Vista HCx for now.
I also have a pair of the Chilly Pepper skins and love them. They are a wonderful product and after you get used to the snugness are quite comfortable. We too go out and play in the snow and they allow your body to breathe unlike traditional long johns.
For 20 yrs I carried a SAK at all times. I still have three of them in the home. I will probably hand one down to my son as his first knife. For the last 10 yrs I have carried a Leatherman and will never go back. The ability of having pliers on hand has saved us in the field a few times already. I never ever leave home without it.
Thanks again for the content and wonderful shows.
Until Next Time,
Mark
